June 21, 2007* – HP rolled out their summer line of products today, including nine new digital cameras and three inkjet printers. Two new photo printers, the HP Photosmart D7260 and Photosmart D7460, utilize six-cartridge, Vivera inks and feature a large, 3.5" display screen. The Photosmart C5280 All-in-One printer features print, copy, and scan capabilities, and it comes standard with one black and one tricolor cartridge. Users can choose to purchase a six-ink color cartridge and gray cartridge for enhanced photo printing. The D7260 and the D7460 sell for $149 and $179, respectively, and will be available in August 2007. The C5280 All-in-One will be available this month and sell for $149. HP’s new photo printers, the Photosmart D7260 and D7460, can print at fast speeds—34 pages per minute (ppm) for black text and 33 ppm for color. Photos can print as quickly as ten seconds. Both printers feature memory card slots and Ethernet connectivity, while the D7460 ramps it up with wireless capabilities.

Other features of the D7260 and D7460 printers include HP’s Red-eye Removal button and a new Smart Web Printing feature that allows printing of web pages without the cutoff edges. Color inks are available for $9.99, and the black ink cartridge sells for $17.99. The HP 02 Value Pack includes all six inks and 150 sheets of paper for only $35.99.  The Photosmart C5280 All-in-One printer prints and copies documents as fast as 32 ppm black and 24 ppm color, with 4" x 6" photos printing in as little as 27 seconds. The All-in-One’s scanner is capable of 48-bit, 4800 x 4800 dpi scans.  Automated features on the C5280, such as the auto paper-type sensor and automatically engaging photo paper tray, make printing easier. A 2.4" LCD display and media card slots enable printing directly from the printer. The printer can also print directly onto CDs and DVDs. While the C5280 ships with one 74 black and one 75 tricolor ink cartridge, printing quality can be expanded by purchasing the optional 99 six-ink color cartridge and 100 gray photo cartridge. HP’s new high capacity XL cartridges are also available for this all-in-one printer.
